WPA has started their Generous Generals program through the Monday Enrichment Program. This class focuses on leadership and community service. Our scholars will be overseeing a few of our upcoming drives, which will include the following:
- A non-perishable food drive for the soup kitchen. This will run from today to December 14th (the last Friday before Winter Break)
- A “Stuff the Sock” drive for our local homeless shelter. With this we will be collecting tube socks and travel sized hygiene products. Examples of items include: shampoo, soap, mouthwash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, bandages, female hygiene products, and baby wipes. We will be stuffing these socks with these items for the entire year.
