WPA is receiving a booster-shot in the area of scholar leadership teams.  Having dissolved the original Ambassador Program ~ WPA will be moving into a new direction for our scholar leadership teams.  Looking to involve parents, staff, and scholars, we will be hosting a number of Leadership Teams for scholars in 3-6th.  Our goal is to have a staff and parent volunteer(s) support our leadership teams.  Each team will schedule meetings (monthly or as needed) to work together on their team goals.  Every team will be encouraged to engage in a community project and design their own team logo/slogan/shirt.  Scholars interested in signing up for a WPA Leadership Team should contact the current Staff Lead [below].  Leadership Teams will consist of 6-16 scholars based on the team.  Scholar participation remains a privilege and is contingent primarily on Leadership Behavior at WPA ~ including hallways, classroom, lunch, and recess.

Don’t see a Leadership Team you are interested in?  Speak with your parents about volunteering to set up a new WPA Leadership Team.  Contact Dr. Forgette with interest and ideas!

*Scholars previously identified as Ambassadors will be contacted by Ms. Gore and Ms. Duncan regarding membership interest for new teams.
