Saturday was WPA’s first time ever running in a Cross Country Conference Championship Meet. It was WPA vs the Capital City Conference. The schools that attended Saturday were Wayne Preparatory, Wilson Preparatory, LifeSpring, Southside, Thales Rolesville, Thales Apex, Southern Wake, Triangle Math and Science and Mt. Zion. The top 10 Boys and top 10 girls for each race made All Conference.

The Boys Team received 4th place overall for the season.  Mason T. came in 4th place for the boys and made All Conference. Great job Boys Cross Country team!! (Mason, Ayden, Gabe, Cameron, Noah, Payton, Trevor and Gabe C)

The Girls Team did an AWESOME job as well. The Lady Generals (Annabelle, Briana, Sunny, Brooklyn, Alli, Alyson, Charlotte and Hannah) won 2nd place overall for the season. Annabelle S. came in 4th place and Briana A. came in 6th place in the girls race to make All conference! Our last meet will be The State Championship this Saturday, October 28th in Kernersville, NC at 4:30 pm. Please come out to support the team.
